- Natural dyes (Ajrak): cold hand-wash separately with mild detergent; dry flat in shade. A first gentle wash may release excess dye — this is normal for natural indigo and madder, and the colours soften and deepen with age.
- Ralli quilts: spot-clean or gentle cold hand-wash; do not tumble-dry. Air in shade seasonally.
- Mirror work & embroidery (kotis, topis, galas): spot-clean only; store folded with tissue. Do not machine-wash.
